오늘의 묵상
하나님의 권세는 광대하고, 그 능력의 넓이는 놀라우시며, 그 위엄의 범위는 영광스러우십니다. 또 하나 더욱 놀라운 진리는, 그 하나님께서 우리에게 개인적으로 가까이 계시다는 것입니다. 주님께서 우리를 아시는 것을 선택하셨고 우리가 매일 겪는 시험과 승리에도 활발히 참여하기로 하셨습니다. 주님께서 여러분과 함께 하시고 동행하신다는 것을 알게 된다면, 오늘이나 내일의 삶이 참으로 달라지지 않을까요? 여러분이 미끄러진다 싶을 때에 주님께서 도우시고, 마음에 근심이 늘어날 때에 주님의 위로가 여러분을 달래주신다는 것을 알게 된다면 어떤 변화가 있을까요?
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We are amazed at the vastness of God's reach, the awesome breadth of his power, and the glorious sweep of his majesty. An additional truth is God's personal nearness, tenderness, and attentiveness to our needs — his continual support and consolation. Our Father chooses to know us and be actively involved in the trials and triumphs we face each day. Imagine how today and every tomorrow will be different because we are aware of his presence and certain of his companionship in our lives. Realize the difference knowing that God supports us when our feet slip and how near God's consolation is when our anxiety and fear rise in our hearts. God, the Master of all creation, knows each of us and intervenes in each of our lives to support and console us!
내 기도
사랑하는 하나님, 모든 곳에 계시지만 항상 옆에 계신 주님, 제 마음의 소리를 들어주십시오. 가까이 계시고 제 안에 계시는 주님의 임재에 제가 압도됩니다. 포위되었을 때에 주님께서 주시는 평안, 약할 때 주시는 힘, 공격당할때 주시는 용기, 모든 희망이 사라진 듯할 때 불어넣어주시는 소망 — 주님의 임재와 함께 주시는 이런 선물들이 제게 참 소중합니다. 주님의 임재 없이는 어디로 가야할지 왜 제가 여기 있는지 모를 것입니다. 저를 알고 계시니 감사드립니다. 오늘 저를 아시듯 저도 주님을 그렇게 알게 될 그 날을 고대합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Loving God, you are everywhere yet always near. Please, dear Father, hear my heartfelt love and appreciation for you. I am overwhelmed at your presence near me and within me. You provide me comfort when I am under siege; you offer me strength when I am weak; you give me courage when I am under attack; and you instill hope when all seems hopeless. These gifts of your presence are precious to me. Without your presence, I would not know where to go or why I am here. Thank you for knowing me and loving me. Dear Father, I look forward to knowing you one day as you know me today.* In Jesus' name, I revel in your grace, rejoice in your presence, and reawaken to your companionship with me each day. Amen.
