오늘의 묵상
진리는, 진리가 행하는 일 안에 드러나며 진리를 추구하는 이들 안에서 보여집니다. 빛의 자녀들처럼 살아가면서, 영광스러우며 가까이 가지 못할 빛에 거하시는 아버지를 따라 살아서 이 세상의 빛이 되도록 합시다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Truth is seen in what it does and whom it seeks. Let's live as children of light and seek after the Father who dwells in unapproachable and glorious light (1 Timothy 6:16) so we might be light to a world darkened by evil (Matthew 5:14-16). Let's not hide, play, or flirt with the darkness, but come to the light and receive the light of life (John 1:4, 8:12) as we live as light in our dark world (Philippians 2:15).
내 기도
모든 하늘의 빛이신 아버지 하나님, 아버지의 임재 안에 제 자신과 제 불완전함과 실패들과 죄를 모두 내어놓으니, 저를 상냥하게 교정하여 주시기를 간구합니다. 주 예수의 피로 저를 용서하시고 깨끗하게 하셔서 아버지께서 보시기에도 점이 없고 거룩하며 흠도 없기를 원합니다. 오 주님, 저는 용서만 받기를 원하지는 않으며, 주님과 주님의 교회에 유용한 도구가 되는 것도 원합니다. 제가 그렇게 잘 사용될 수 있는 방법을 찾도록 도우시옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father of the heavenly lights,* I ask you to correct me gently as I place myself, my imperfections, failures, and sins before you, bringing them into the light of your presence. Please forgive and cleanse me by the blood of Jesus so that I might be spotless and holy and blameless in your sight. O Lord, I don't just want to be forgiven; I want to be cleansed and made useful to you and your people. Please help me find my way to usefulness and be light to those trapped in darkness. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
