آج کی آیت پر خیالات
جب خُدا کے لوگوں نے اپنے گُناہ کی گہرائی کوجانا اور خُدا کی سزا کے قریب ہوئے، انہوں نے توبہ کی اور اُس کی مدد کا پُکارا۔ بَدقسمتی سے ہم اکثر اپنے گُناہ کے مسائل کو چھپاتے، کتراتے، اور دامن میں رکھتے ہیں۔ ہم اپنے گُناہ کو ماننے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہوتے، بہُت کم اِس کا اعتراف کرتے اور اِس سے بچتے ہیں۔ "یہ اتنا بُرا نہیں ہے! میں بہُت سے لوگوں کو جانتا ہُوں جو بہُت بُری چیزیں کرتے ہیں!" ہمیں گُناہ کے اعتراف کو ذِلت اور کمزوری کے طور پر نہیں دیکھنا چاہیئے۔ اپنے گُناہ کو تسلیم کرنا اور خُدا سے مُعافی، پاکیزگی اور قوت طلب کرنا ہمیں بزور استعمال کرنے کے لیے اُس کے لیے دروازہ کھول دیتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When God's people realized the depth of their sin and the impending punishment by God, they repented and asked for his help. They didn't try to diminish the gravity of their sin. Instead, they threw themselves on the mercy of the Lord and his graciousness. Unfortunately today, we often hide, avoid, rationalize, deny, and skirt the seriousness our personal sin. We don't like to admit it, much less confess it and turn from it. "It's not really all that bad. I know a lot of folks who do a lot worse things than I did." We must not view confession of sin as humiliation or weakness. Acknowledging our sin and asking for God's forgiveness, cleansing, and power open the door for him to use us mightily if we will look to him for our rescue!

پیارے آسمانی باپ، میرے گُناہ کے لیے مُجھے مُعاف کر دے۔ براہِ کرم اپنے تبدیل اور پاک کر دینے والے رُوح کے وسیلہ سے میری زندگی سے اِس کا خاتمہ کر دے جیسا کہ روزانہ اپنا آپ قربانی کے طور پر تُجھے پیش کرتا ہُوں۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہُوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Forgive me, Heavenly Father, for my sin. Please eradicate it from my life with the help of your transforming and purifying Spirit as I offer myself daily as a living sacrifice to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
