आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
परमेश्वर अपने वचन के पक्के हैं| वह अपने वादे निभाता है। लेकिन, यह उनके लिए काफी नहीं था| वह चाहते थे की हम उनके साथ अपने भविष्य को लेकर पूरे आश्वस्त रहें| इसलिए उसने हमें अग्रिम भुगतान, एक जमा राशि दी, ताकि हम अपनी विरासत के बारे में आश्वस्त हो सकें और अपने उद्धार की पूर्ण प्राप्ति की आशा कर सकें| उसने यीशु से हम पर अभिषेक के रूप में (तीतुस 3:3-7; 1 यूहन्ना 2:20, 27) और जो आने वाला है उसकी गारंटी के रूप में हम पर (2 कुरिन्थियों 1:22, 5:5) पवित्र आत्मा उंडेला| जब परमेश्वर हमें हमारे नश्वर शरीरों की गुलामी से खरीद लेता है और हमें ऐसे शरीरों के साथ हमारे शाश्वत घर में ले जाता है जो बूढ़े नहीं होंगे या सड़ेंगे नहीं, तो हमें जमा राशि की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी; हमें पूरी विरासत मिलेगी। लेकिन तब तक, जब तक हम उसके पास नहीं जाते, क्या यह आश्चर्यजनक नहीं है कि वह हमारे भीतर अपना घर बना लेता है!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God is faithful to his word. He keeps his promises. But that faithfulness was not enough for him. He wanted us to have the full assurance of our future with him. So, he gave us a down payment, a deposit, so we could be sure of our inheritance and look forward to fully realizing our salvation. He had Jesus pour the Holy Spirit onto us as an anointing (Titus 3:3-7; 1 John 2:20, 27) and into us as a guarantee of what is to come (2 Corinthians 1:22, 5:5). When God buys us out of slavery to our mortal bodies and redeems us into our eternal home with bodies that will not grow old or decay, we won't need the deposit; we will have our complete inheritance. But until then, until we go to him, we rejoice in the amazing truth that he makes his home within us!

उत्कृष्ट और फिर भी सदैव निकट रहने वाले ईश्वर, मुझे अपनी उपस्थिति का अनुभव करने का इंतजार न कराने के लिए धन्यवाद। मुझे "दिव्य महिमा का पूर्वस्वाद" देने के लिए धन्यवाद। मुझमें रहने के लिए अपनी धन्य और वादा की गई आत्मा को भेजने और मुझे याद दिलाने के लिए धन्यवाद कि मेरा घर वास्तव में कहाँ है। जब तक मैं आपको आमने-सामने नहीं देख लेता, तब तक मैं शुद्ध, पवित्र और दूसरों के लिए आशीर्वाद देने वाला जीवन जीकर अपने नश्वर शरीर में आपकी उपस्थिति का सम्मान करना चाहता हूं। यीशु के नाम पर मैं प्रार्थना करता हूँ। आमीन।
My Prayer...
Transcendent and yet ever-near God, thank you for not making me wait to experience your presence. Thank you for giving me "a foretaste of glory divine." Thank you for sending your blessed and promised Spirit to live in me and remind me where my home truly is. Until the day I see you face-to-face, I want to honor your presence in my mortal body by living a life that is pure, holy, and a blessing to others. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
