आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
यह संदेश हमारे पिछले हफ़्ते के उन वचनों के बाद आया है जिनमें हमें क्षमा किए जाने, शुद्ध किए जाने, पवित्र किए जाने और पावन बनाए जाने के बारे में बताया गया था। यह लंबा वचन एक बहुत ही सरल संदेश में सिमट जाता है: हमें अपने शरीरों से जो कुछ भी करते हैं, उसके द्वारा परमेश्वर की महिमा करनी है। हम अपने पापों में मृत थे, लेकिन परमेश्वर ने हमें यीशु के साथ उसकी मुक्तिदायक मृत्यु, दफन और पुनरुत्थान में हमारी सहभागिता के माध्यम से जीवित किया है। हम उन भयानक पापों की ओर कैसे लौट सकते हैं जिन्होंने हम पर प्रभुत्व जमा लिया था और हमें मृत्यु की ओर ले गए थे? हमें ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए! हमें ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए! और परमेश्वर की दयालु सहायता से, हम ऐसा नहीं करेंगे। उसकी महिमा के लिए जीने की हमारी प्रतिबद्धता और पवित्र आत्मा की शक्ति हमें उसके लिए जीने में मदद करेगी और हमें बढ़ती हुई महिमा के साथ हमारे उद्धारकर्ता, यीशु के समान बनने के लिए रूपांतरित करेगी (2 कुरिन्थियों 3:18)।
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We come to today's message after this past week of verses about being forgiven, purified, cleansed, and made holy. This long verse boils down to a very simple message: We are to glorify God through what we do with our bodies. We were dead in our sins, but God has made us alive through our participation with Jesus in his saving death, burial, and resurrection. How can we go back to the hideous sins that mastered us and led us to death? We shouldn't! We mustn't! And by God's gracious help, we won't. Our commitment to live for his glory and the power of the Holy Spirit will help us live for him and transform us with increasing glory to be like our Savior, Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18).

पिता, अनुग्रह के परमेश्वर, कृपया मेरे उन पिछले समयों के लिए मुझे क्षमा करें जब मैंने पाप से खिलवाड़ किया था। मैं जानता हूँ कि मेरे पाप से मुझे छुड़ाने के लिए आपने कितनी कीमत चुकाई। मैं शैतान की उस शक्ति को जानता हूँ जो पाप का उपयोग करके मुझे फँसाने और गुलाम बनाने के लिए करता है। मुझे आशीष दें क्योंकि मैं आपके लिए जीने का संकल्प करता हूँ, जिसमें यीशु मेरा प्रभु हो, और आत्मा मेरे भीतर आपकी सशक्त उपस्थिति हो। मैं इस अनुग्रह के लिए यीशु के नाम में प्रार्थना करता हूँ। आमीन।
My Prayer...
Father, God of grace, please forgive me for the times in my past when I flirted with sin. I know how much you paid to redeem me from my sin. I know the power of Satan to use sin to entrap and enslave me. Bless me as I commit to living for you, with Jesus as my Lord, and the Spirit as your empowering presence within me. I ask for this grace, in Jesus' name. Amen.
