आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
"अगर आप मेरे यीशु से प्यार करते हो तो खड़े हो जाओ और चिल्लाओ..." यह एक ऐसा गीत है जिसे हमारे बच्चे गाना पसंद करते हैं! लेकिन जैसे-जैसे हमारी उम्र बढ़ती है, प्रभु की आराधना करने के उस जवानी के उत्साह और आनंद का क्या होता है? पवित्रशास्त्र से पता चलता है कि परमेश्वर नहीं चाहता कि हम उस आराधनात्मक जुनून को खो दें। बाइबल पढ़ें और हमारे अद्भुत और शाश्वत परमेश्वर की श्रद्धा और स्तुति करने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले सभी भौतिक कृत्यों पर प्रकाश डालें। यह आश्चर्यजनक है! ऐसी दुनिया में जो नियमित रूप से परमेश्वर के नाम का व्यर्थ उपयोग करती है, क्या यह समय नहीं है कि हम खड़े हों और परमेश्वर की स्तुति करें - न केवल कलीसिया (हमारी व्यक्तिगत आराधना) और हमारी दैनिक भक्ति (हमारी व्यक्तिगत आराधना) में, बल्कि हर दिन हमारे जीवन में भी ( हमारी सार्वजनिक आराधना)?!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
"Stand up and shout it if you love my Jesus..." That's a song our children love to sing! But what happens to that youthful exuberance and joy at worshiping the Lord as we age? Scripture shows that God doesn't want us to lose that worshipful passion. Read through the Bible and highlight all the physical acts used to reverence and praise our awesome and eternal God. It's amazing! In a world that regularly uses God's name in vain, isn't it time we stood up and praised God — praise not only in church (our private worship) and our daily devotionals (our personal worship) but also in our lives every day (our public worship)?!

My Prayer...
Heavenly Father, I find it incomprehensible that an eternal and mighty God would choose to listen to my prayers. Yet I know you do hear them, and you respond to them. Thank you! Please be praised in my worship, whether I offer it in private with other Christians at church, in my daily personal worship, or with my public worship, as I live as an example before my coworkers. You alone are God and worthy of all praise, so please be praised in my life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
