இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
இயேசுவானவர் தம்முடைய பரலோக மகிமையை பற்றிக்கொள்ளாமல் , நம்மை இரட்சிக்க அதை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். இப்போதும் அவர் தனது மாதிரியைப் பின்பற்றி அவருடைய இதயத்தைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும்படி கேட்கிறார். அவர் நம்மை நடத்தியது போல நாமும் ஒருவரையொருவர் நடத்த வேண்டும் என்று அவர் விரும்புகிறார், நம்முடைய சொந்த விருப்பத்திற்கு முன்னதாக மற்றவர்களின் தேவைகளையும், தேவனின் விருப்பத்தையும் வைக்கவேண்டும். இப்போது இந்த பெரிய மாற்றம் , முழுமையாக நடப்பதைக் நான் காண்பேன் என்று நம்புகிறேன்!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus did not cling to his heavenly glory but surrendered it to save us. He was born in a stable, made his first bed in a manger, and was welcomed to this world by lowly shepherds. His adoptive dad, Joseph, had to flee to Egypt with Mary to protect young Jesus. The Lord made his boyhood home in despised Nazareth, apprenticing in Joseph's carpenter's shop. Paul uses Jesus' surrender of his heavenly glory as an example for us. Paul, God's apostle to the nations, expended his human energy so Jesus would come alive in those who followed Jesus as Lord (Colossians 1:28-29). He reminded all disciples to focus on Jesus, to obey his teaching, and to follow his example. As we do, the Holy Spirit transforms us, with increasing likeness, into our Savior's sacrificial character. Now, we must serve each other as Jesus served. We must think of others' needs before our own comfort, preferences, and rights. Jesus' incarnation, ministry, crucifixion, burial, and resurrection were revolutionary. Now it is our turn to join the revolution and turn our fallen world upside down — a revolution we give our lives to help come to pass!

பிதாவாகிய தேவனே , உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வல்லமையால் என் இதயத்தையும் மனதையும் மாற்றியருளும். என் நினைவுகள் உம் நினைவுகளாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் விரும்புகிறேன். என்னுடைய இருதயத்தின் வாஞ்சை உம் குமாரனின் சித்தத்தை பிரதிபலிக்க விரும்புகிறேன். என் சித்தம் உம்முடைய ஆவியினால் வழிநடத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று நான் விரும்புகிறேன். அது சரியல்ல அல்லது சிறந்ததல்ல என்று எனக்குத் தெரிந்தாலும், என் சொந்த முக்கியத்துவத்தையும், எனது சொந்த விருப்பத்தையும், என்னுடைய சுய-நியாயத்தையும் இரக்கமின்றிப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளும் என் போக்கையும் தயவுகூர்ந்து மன்னியுங்கள். என் மனதை உமது மகனின் மனதைப் போல் உருவாக்கியருளும் . இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே நான் ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
O Father, please mold me through the transforming power of your Holy Spirit as I pursue becoming more JESUShaped. May my thoughts be JESUShaped thoughts. May my heart's desire reflect the passions of the Son. In Jesus' name, I choose to relinquish my sense of self-importance to serve others as Jesus did. Amen.
