இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
இயேசு பிறந்த நாட்களில் தேவனுடைய மீட்பை தேவ பக்தியுள்ள மற்றும் அடிமையுள்ள மக்கள் எதிர்பார்த்து காத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர் . இரட்சிப்பை பெரிய விலையில்லாமல் பெற முடியாது என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்தனர் - தங்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கும் கூட. ஏசாயா தனது ஊழியத்தின் பாடல்களில் இதைப் பற்றி சுட்டிக்காட்டினார் (ஏசாயா 53 ஐப் பார்க்கவும்). அவர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த வாழ்க்கையின் வரலாற்றில் அனுபவித்தவர்கள். எனவே உண்மையுள்ள மனதுடனே , இரட்சிப்பு மற்றும் மீட்பை பெற தங்களுக்கு பெலன் இல்லை என்று அவர்கள் ஒப்புக்கொண்டனர். இந்த பெலன் தேவனிடமிருந்து வர வேண்டும் மற்றும் தேவனுடைய மறுரூபத்தை தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் நாடும் மக்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும். அவர்கள் தேவனிடம் கேட்க வேண்டும்! அவர்கள் அன்றாட வாழ்வில் அவருடைய முகத்தையும் அவரது பிரசன்னத்தையும் தேட வேண்டியிருந்தது. நாமும் அவ்வாறாகவே செய்வோம் !
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
In the days of Jesus' birth, a group of devout and lowly people called the "pious poor" were looking for God's redemption of his people. We meet some of them in the first two chapters of Luke's Gospel — Zechariah and Elizabeth, Anna and Simeon, along with Mary and Joseph. They knew that salvation could not, and would not, come without great cost — not just to themselves, but also to God. Isaiah had prophesied about this redemption in his Servant Songs (Isaiah 53:1-12). They had experienced suffering and hardship in their own history. So with honest hearts, they confessed that they didn't have the power to bring their own salvation and deliverance. This power had to come from their almighty God. They believed God would release this power for the powerless, yet righteous and devout, people seeking God's transformation in their lives and waiting for God to console and redeem Israel (Luke 2:25; 24:21). They knew they needed to ask God for it! They knew to seek his face and find his presence in their daily lives. So we join them as we cry out, "Restore us, O Lord God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved."

கர்த்தாவே, வானத்திற்கும் பூமிக்கும் தேவனே, சகல சிருஷ்டிக்கும் அதிபதியே, நான் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.உமது வல்லமைக்காகவும் மகிமைக்காகவும் உன்னைப் துதிக்கிறேன். உம் ஞானம் மற்றும் சிருஷ்டிக்காகவும், இரக்கத்திற்காகவும் நீதிக்காகவும் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.உம்மை போற்றுகிறேன் , ஏனென்றால் நீர் மட்டுமே என் புகழுக்கு தகுதியானவர்.கர்த்தாவே, உம் ஒருவராலே மட்டும் முழு இரட்சிப்பை கொண்டுவர முடியும். தயவுசெய்து உம் முகத்தை என் மீது பிரகாசியும் .தயவு செய்து உம் பிரசன்னத்தை என் வாழ்வில் தெரியப்படுத்துங்கள். இயேசுவின் நாமத்திலே நான் ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
O Lord, God of heaven and earth, Ruler of all creation, I praise you. I praise you for your power and glory. I praise you for your wisdom and creativity. I praise you for your mercy and righteousness. I praise you, because you alone are worthy of my praise. O Lord, you alone can bring me full salvation to me, to the lost, and to my brothers and sisters in need. Please, shine your face upon me. Please, make your presence known in our lives and shine your face upon us. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
