ข้อคิดเกี่ยวกับข้อพระคัมภีร์วันนี้
ความบริสุทธิ์ เป็นสิ่งที่คนในยุคนี้หลงลืมไปเสียแล้ว แต่เป็นสิ่งที่คริสเตียนทุกคนควรมี เพราะ มันเป็นภาพสะท้อนของพระเจ้าพระบิดาผู้ชอบธรรมของเรา ในยุคที่คนไม่สนใจพระคุณของพระเจ้า หรือไม่เอาจริงเอาจังกับเรื่องของพระเยซู คำพูดของเปโตรที่ยกมาในวันนี้ น่าจะทำให้เราตกใจกลัวรีบหันกลับมายำเกรงพระเจ้า คือตั้งใจใหม่ที่จะมีชีวิตที่บริสุทธิ์ ห่างไกลจากสิ่งชั่วร้ายและผลุดขึ้นจากโคลนตมของซาตานที่ทำให้เราเป็นมลทินนั้น แล้วหันมาถวายร่างกาย จิตใจ และความคิดของเราให้ทำตามใจพระเจ้าพร้อมกับสะท้อนลักษณะของพระองค์ออกมาด้วย
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Holiness is that oft-forgotten character virtue that is the Christian's reflection of God, their holy and righteous Father. In a day when grace is so easily cheapened, when anything goes as acceptable just as long as we want to be buddies with Jesus, Peter's words should shock us into reverence — the holy commitment to set our lives apart from the evil and satanic sludge that defiles our world and to offer our bodies, hearts, and minds to do his will and reflect his character. As Peter challenges us, "You ought to live holy and godly lives." Why? Because we are looking forward to the day of God's salvation to dawn in all of its fullness for those who are his (2 Peter 3:13, 15).

ข้าแต่พระบิดาผู้บริสุทธิ์และชอบธรรม โปรดสอนให้ข้าพเจ้าทำตามใจพระองค์ และสะท้อนลักษณะของพระองค์ออกมาให้เห็นในเวลาที่ข้าพเจ้าเอาพระคุณของพระองค์ไปบอกต่อกับคนอื่นๆ ขอให้การเคลื่อนของใจ ความคิดในหัว และการกระทำในชีวิตของข้าพเจ้า ทำให้พระองค์พอใจ และสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความบริสุทธิ์และพระคุณของพระองค์ด้วยเถิด อธิษฐานในนามอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระเยซูเจ้า อาเมน
My Prayer...
Holy and Righteous Father, please teach me to do your will and reflect your character as I offer your grace to others. May the movements of my heart, the thoughts of my mind, and the actions of my life be pleasing to you and reflect your holiness and grace. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.
