آج کی آیت پر خیالات
نظم و ضبط، حتیٰ کہ جب غلط طور پر سزا کے ساتھ اس کا الجھاؤ ہو، تُواس کو پریشان کُن، تکلیف دہ، اور غیر ضروری تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔ ہمارا سست اور گناہ گار حصہ کوئی حد نہیں چاہتا، حتیٰ کہ وہ اچھے ہوں، اور کوئی ہدایت نہیں کیونکہ ہو سکتا ہے کہ یہ اس کام کے ساتھ الجھاؤ پیدا کریں جو ہم کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ لیکن خدا نظم و ضبط سے باہر ہو کر ہم سے پیا ر کرتا ہے۔ یہ اس کی خوشی کی علامت ہے۔ کیوں؟ کونکہ وہ ہمیں غیر تبدیل شدہ، غیر متحرک، اور غیر دلچسپی میں نہیں چھوڑنا چاہتا۔ وہ ہمیں ہمارے مقصد یعنی یسوع کے اور قریب دیکھنا چاہتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Discipline is considered onerous, irritating, and unnecessary. The lazy and sinful parts of us want no boundaries, even if they are good. We resist any guardrails to our behavior because we do not wish to receive any direction that might conflict with what we want to do. But the Lord disciplines out of love to bless us. It is a sign of his delight in us. Why? Because he is not content to leave us unchanged, unmotivated, and disinterested in what real life is. He does not want to see us deceived, misled, or captured by the evil one's lying ways. He wants to move us closer to our goal: Jesus, and our eternal destiny with our Lord!
میری دعا
اے راست باز باپ میں اقرار کرتا ہوں، میں نظم و ضبط کو زیادہ پسند نہیں کرتا، تاہم، اے باپ، میں اچھی طرح سے یہ جانتا ہوں کہ تیرا نظم و ضبط میرے اچھے کے لیے اور میری روح کی برکت کے لیے ہے۔ میری مدد کر کہ میں جان سکوں اور اپنی زندگی کے حالات کو استعمال کر کے یسوع کی طرح بن سکوں، جس کے نام میں، میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
I confess, Righteous Father, that I don't like discipline. However, Father, deep down, I know that your discipline is for my spiritual good and eternal blessing. Please help me better understand and use the situations in my life that you use to discipline me, so that I can become more like Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
