오늘의 묵상
얼마나 놀라운 성경구절인지요! 단순히 읽지만 말고 믿음을 가졌으면 좋겠습니다. 하나님은 역사 속에서 구세주의 자리를 이미 예비해 놓으셨고, 그 자리에 당신의 아들을 보내셨습니다. 그 아들께서 율법의 모든 어려운 점들을 다루셨고, 친히 인간의 몸을 입고 모든 연약한 점들을 경험하셨습니다. 하늘 아버지께서는 우리들의 자유를 위해 그 아들의 삶을 십자가위에 통째로 바치는 지독한 대가를 치르셨는데, 그것도 그 아들의 유명세를 질투하며 비웃는 폭도들 앞에서 겪도록 하셨습니다. 이를 통해 당신과 제가 그분의 존귀한 자녀들이 될 수 있도록 하셨으며, 위대한 유산(기업)을 물려받는 권리를 받게 하셨습니다. 간결히 나열해보면: 하나님의 계획, 하나님의 아들, 하나님의 면죄금(속죄), 우리의 영광이 됩니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Wow! What a rich passage full of many wonderful thoughts. Let's put it in cornbread English so that we can not only read it, we can also believe it. God made history ready for a savior and then sent his Son. That Son had to deal with all the difficulties of the Law and faced all the frailties of being a human. Our Father bought our freedom at the terrible cost of his Son's life on a cross in front of a mob that was jeering and jealous of his popularity. He did this so that you and I could be his honored children, entitled to all of his wonderful inheritance. To put it succinctly: God's plan, God's Son, God's ransom, Our glory.
내 기도
하늘에 계신 아버지, 당신께서 예수님을 보내셔서 박해당하고 비웃음당하며 십자가에 못박히는 것을 당하게 하실 때 그 모든 고통을 겪으신 것에 감사드립니다. 저를 죄악된 환경에서 건져내심에 감사드리고, 제 죄의 결과로 죽을 운명이었던 저를 되사신것에 감사드리며, 자유와 가족의 선물을 주신 것에 감사드립니다. 당신께서 모든 영광과 존귀와, 위대한 은혜 찬양 드림을 받으시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for all the pain it caused you to send Jesus and to see him persecuted, ridiculed, and crucified. Thank you for redeeming me from my sinful condition, for buying me out of the death that would have been the consequence of my sins, and for giving me the gift of freedom in Christ and the gift of family all around the world through Jesus. To you belongs all glory, honor, and praise for your marvelous grace. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
