오늘의 묵상
강물처럼 흐르는 생수 — 죽어가는 소망을 살리는 생명의 물, 바짝 마른 마음을 시원하게 하는 물, 지치고 시달린 사람을 새롭게 하는 물을 뜻합니다만, 여기서의 물은 우리가 입으로 마시는 액체 그 이상을 뜻하는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 자녀인 우리들의 영혼에 궁극적으로 필요한 이 물을 주시기를 간절히 원하십니다. 8월 한달동안 예수님의 약속들을 믿음으로 붙잡고, 우리가 그분께 가까이 지낼 때 성령께서 우리 영혼을 회복시키실 것입니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Streams of water — living water for dry hopes, cool water for parched hearts, refreshing water for those tired and weary. This is, of course, much more than a liquid we can drink with our lips. This is the ultimate water of the soul God longs to give us. It's what the Father sent Jesus to give his children. Let's spend the month of August refreshing ourselves with the promises of Jesus and trusting that, as we draw close to him, the Spirit will restore our souls, and the living water of the Spirit will flow within us.

사랑하는 아버지 하나님, 예수님을 보내셔서 저를 구원하시고, 성령을 보내셔서 저를 붙드시며 새롭게 하시니 감사드립니다. 제 구원자이신 예수님께 가까이 다가가오니 특히 이번 달에 저를 축복하여 주시고, 제 영혼을 주님의 성령의 생수로 새롭게 회복시키시옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Loving Father, thank you for sending Jesus to save me and the Holy Spirit to sustain and renew me and be your presence inside me. Please bless me, especially this month, as I seek to draw closer to my Savior and restore my soul with the refreshing living water of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
