오늘의 묵상
"예전과 나중" — 은혜의 이야기입니다. "잃었던 생명 찾았고 광명을 얻었네" 라는 찬송을 온전히 이해할 수 있다면, 더욱 많은 은혜가 우리의 삶을 채우고, 우리의 교회에는 확신에 찬 하나님의 종들이 더욱 많아질 것입니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Our before and after: we were lost, now found; we were darkness, now light. This should be our journey of grace. "I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see," as the old hymn "Amazing Grace" has us sing. If we could only fully grasp what we so easily sing, then maybe our lives would be filled with more grace and our churches with more confident servants of God (Ephesians 1:18). Let's "live as children of light" (1 Thessalonians 5:5), transferred from the dominion of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of God's love (Colossians 1:13-14), in whom we have light and life (John 1:4; 2 Timothy 1:10).
내 기도
전능하신 주 하나님, 주님의 은혜로 인하여 주님의 임재 속에서 환영받으면서도 주님의 자녀 중 한명으로 사랑받으면서 그 임재 안에 설 수 있게 되었습니다. 어둠의 모든 덫에서 저를 건져주시면서 주님의 빛으로 저를 이끄시니 감사드립니다. 제 마음과 제 발을 인도하셔서 주님의 길을 걸어가고 주님의 빛을 발할 수 있도록 도우시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Lord God Almighty, by your grace we know that we stand before you today, welcomed into your glorious presence and received as your beloved children. You have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and flooded our hearts with your glorious light. Thank you for rescuing us from all the traps of the darkness and bringing us into your light. Please guide our hearts and our feet so they will walk your path and show forth your light to those in darkness. Through Jesus and by his authority, we pray. Amen.
