இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
நாம் கர்த்தருக்கும் , சர்வசிருஷ்டிக்கும் தேவனானவருக்கும் , ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபின் தேவனுக்கும் சொந்தமானவர்கள் (1பேதுரு 2: 9-10). நாம் தேவனுடைய கிருபையைப் பெறுபவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம், இஸ்ரவேலின் பிதாக்களுக்கு அவர் காட்டிய அன்பினால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறோம். நாம் பயப்பட வேண்டியதில்லை ஏனென்றால் முற்காலத்தில் எப்படி தாம் தெரிந்துக்கொண்ட மக்களுக்கு மேசியாவை அனுப்பி கிரியைச் செய்தாரோ, அப்படியே நம் எதிர்க்காலத்தையும் தேவனானவர் தன்னுடைய கரங்களில் வைத்திருக்கிறார். நாம் எதிர்கொள்ளும் கடினமான சோதனைகளில் அவர் நம்முடனே வருவார். நம்முடைய மீட்பை உணர்ந்துக்கொள்ள உறுதிச் செய்வார். ஏன்? ஏனென்றால் நாம் அவருக்கு சொந்தமானவர்கள், நாம் அவருடையவர்கள், அவர் நம்மை அறிந்திருக்கிறவர், நம்மை ஜெநிப்பித்தவர் அவரே. அவருடைய ஜனங்கள் என்றென்றும் அவருக்கு சொந்தமானவர்கள். நாம் அனைவரும் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் !
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We belong to the Lord, God of all creation, and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We are his (1 Peter 2:9-10). We are recipients of God's grace and are blessed by his love for Israel's fathers, along with physical Israel (Romans 11:28). We don't have to fear because God is in control of our future, just as he worked through the history of his chosen people to send the Messiah. God will accompany us through the difficult trials we will face. He will make sure our redemption is realized. Why? Because we belong to him. We are his. He knows us. He formed us. God's people are his possession forever. We are children of the almighty and the eternal God!

சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தாவே, ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு என்னும் முற்பிதாக்களின் தேவனே, உம்முடைய உண்மையுள்ள வாக்குத்தத்தங்களுக்காக உம்மை ஸ்தோத்தரிக்கிறேன். அநேக தலை முறையினர்கள் மூலமாய் நீர் உண்டுபண்ணின மீட்பின் கிரியைகளுக்காக உமக்கு நன்றி. எங்களை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்படியாய் நீர் அனுப்பின உம்முடையக் குமாரனாகிய மேசியாவுக்காக என் உள்ளத்தின் ஆழத்திலிருந்து உம்மைப் போற்றுகிறேன் . உம்முடைய சத்தியத்தை எனக்குக் போதிக்கிற உற்சாகமுள்ள வேதவசனங்களுக்காக உம்மை ஸ்தோத்தரிக்கிறேன். உமக்கு சொந்தமான ஆசீர்வாதத்திற்கும், என்னுடைய எதிர்காலம் உம்முடன் என்று நம்பிக்கைக் கொள்ள முடியும் என்பதை அறிந்துக் கொள்ள செய்ததற்காக எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றியைத் உமக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கின்றேன். தயவுக்கூர்ந்து ஒரு அற்புதமான உணர்வோடு உம்முடைய பிரசன்னம் உம் மக்களோடு நிலைத்திருக்கும் படி அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உமக்கே மகிமை கொண்டு வருபர்களாக எங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
Almighty and Sovereign Lord — God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — we praise you for your faithfulness to your promises. We thank you for your redemptive work through many generations. We deeply appreciate you sending your Son and our Messiah to redeem us. We praise you for inspiring the Scriptures to teach us your truth. Please know that we are deeply grateful for the blessing of belonging to you and for knowing that we can trust our future with you. Please bless us, your people, with an awe-filled sense of your abiding presence and use us to bring you glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
