ఈనాటి వచనమునుగూర్చిన తలంపు
క్రైస్తవులముగా , మనము సంస్కృతి నుండి వేరుచేయడానికి పిలువబడలేదు. మనము సన్యాసులు అని పిలువబడలేదు కానీ దానికి బదులుగా, మనం చీకటి ప్రపంచంలో ఉన్నామని, వెలుగు వలే - కొన్ని లోపలి పడకగదిలో చిన్న కొవ్వొత్తులవలే దూరంగా ఉంచినట్లు కాక, కొవ్వొత్తులను వాటి స్టాండ్లలో అమర్చినట్లుగా, అందరూ ఒక కొండపై పట్టణము దాచబడకుండినట్లు తమ వెలుగును ఇతరులు చూచేటట్లు వెలుగుగా ఉండాలని గుర్తుంచుకోండి.వాస్తవానికి, మన లక్ష్యం మన వైపు దృష్టి పెట్టడం కాదు, కానీ మన తండ్రి యొక్క అద్భుతమైన కృపను చూడటానికి ఇతరులకు సహాయపడటం.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As Christians, we are not called to isolate ourselves from culture. We are not called to be hermits or monks. Instead, we are to recognize that we are in a world of darkness and live as light — not as little candles tucked away in some inner bedroom, but as candles set on their stands so all can see their light or cities on a hill that can't be hidden. Of course, our goal is not to call attention to ourselves, but to help others see the glorious grace of our Father.
