สำหรับคริสเตียน จะไม่มีการเล่นซ่อนหากับโลกนี้ เราได้รับการช่วยกู้ออกมาจากความมืด เราก็ต้องปล่อยให้แสงในตัวเราส่องสว่างออกมา บางครั้งนั่นก็หมายถึง การที่คนอื่นๆ จะมองเห็นแสงของพระเจ้าที่สะท้อนออกมาจากตัวเรา และเรียนรู้ที่จะสรรเสริญพระเจ้าผ่านทางเรา แต่บางครั้ง มันก็หมายความว่าเรากำลังโดดเด่นอยู่ในโลกแห่งความมืดและกลายเป็นเป้าหมายให้คนโจมตีเพราะความเชื่อของเรา ไม่ว่าจะมีความหมายแบบไหน ไม่มีที่ที่จะให้เราซ่อนได้ เราเป็นแสงสว่างในโลกแห่งความมืด มันช่วยไม่ได้ที่เราจะต้องส่องสว่างออกมา
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
For followers of Jesus, there is no playing hide and seek with the world. Having been rescued from darkness, we must let our light shine. This isn't a suggestion but the command of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus! Letting our lights shine sometimes means that others see God's light reflected in us and learn to glorify God through us. At other times, however, we stand out in a world of darkness and become targets because of our faith. Even under attack, however, we can be a beacon of hope for those searching for a way out of their darkness. Either way, there is no place for us to hide. We are Jesus' light to a world of darkness; we must shine!

โอ พระเจ้าผู้บริสุทธิ์ โปรดเสริมกำลังให้กับข้าพเจ้า เพื่อที่ว่าด้วยความกล้าหาญอย่างไม่สะทกสะท้านและด้วยความเมตตาของพระเยซู ข้าพเจ้าจะทำให้โลกที่หลงหายรอบๆตัวข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นถึงแสงสว่างของพระองค์ในตัวข้าพเจ้า อธิษฐานในนามของพระเยซู ผู้เป็นแสงสว่างของโลกนี้ อาเมน
My Prayer...
O Holy God, please strengthen me so that with undaunted courage and compassion, I might display Jesus' light to the lost and dark world around me. In the name of Jesus, the Light of life, I pray. Amen.
