منادی کرنے والے کے طور پر، میں لوگوں کی زندگیوں کے اہم تہواروں پر شامل ہونے پر فخر محسوس کرتا ہوں۔ خواہ بُرے خواہ بھلے، لیکن زندگی کے سنگم میں وہاں ہونا بہت بھروسے کی بات ہے۔ اُن لمحات میں وہ مشکل ہوتے ہیں، ختم ہونےوالے اور موت، ایسی آیات میرے دل کو قوت دیتی ہیں اور مجھے یاد دلاتی ہیں کہ کیوں میں نے خدمت کےلیے بُلاہٹ کو قبول کیا جب پانی میرے سَر کے اُوپر تھا۔ خُدا کا عہد ہمارے لیے عظیم یاددہانی ہے کہ جو اُس نے شروع کیا ہے جب اُس نے اپنے لوگوں کو مِصر کی غلامی سے نکالا، وہ اُن کو اُن کے گھر لا کر اُس کو ضرور پُورا بھی کرے گا جس کا اُن کے ساتھ عہد کیا۔ اب، ہم اِن الفاظ کے پیچھے اور زیادہ طاقتور عہد کو سُن سکتے ہیں۔ اُن پر اعتماد کرنے کےلیے ہم اِس کو اور معنی خیز انداز میں دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔ خُدا نے اسرائیل کے لیے جو کہا وہ کیا۔ چنانچہ اُن کے لئے وہ کیا،تو کیا ہم اعتماد کے ساتھ نہیں کہہ سکتے، "میں جانتا ہوں کہ تُو مجھے مقدس سکونت کی طرف راہنمائی فرمائے گا؟"
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As a minister, I have been privileged to be present at many of the most important events in people's lives. Being present at these crossroads is a sacred trust. In those hardest moments — tragedy, catastrophe, dying, and death — verses like this one fill my heart with strength, and the promise reminds me why I answered a call to serve in waters way above my head. God's promise in this passage is a great reminder that what he began when he redeemed his people out of Egypt, he completed by bringing them into the Promised Land. Now, we can hear a more powerful promise behind these words through the voice and writing of the apostle Paul to the Philippians.
...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).
Because of Jesus, we have even confidence to trust God's promises in our verse for today. God did what he said for Israel. Since he did it for them, we confidently say "In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling."

مہربان چوپان، تُو نے بہت سے مشکل وقتوں میں میری راہنمائی فرمائی ہے اور مجھے اُن میں سے بحفاظت نکالا ہے۔ اب، جیسا کہ میں تیرے لیے جینے کی تلاش میں ہوں، اپنی حضوری کو یقینی بنا۔ میرا حقیقی ایمان ہے کہ تُو مقدس سکونت کی طرف میری راہنمائی فرما رہا ہے، لیکن بعض اوقات، میں اقرار کرتا ہوں، راستہ مشکل اور ایمان کٹھن ہو جاتا ہے۔ اے خُداوند، میرے حوصلے کو نیا کر جیسا کہ تُو نے تذبذب کا شکار موسی اور غیر تجربہ کار یشوع کے ساتھ کیا۔ پھر، پیارے خُداوند، براہِ کرم تیرےعہد اور تیرے پاس گھر کی تلاش کےلیے دُوسروں کی مدد کرنے کےلیے مجھے استعمال کر۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Tender Shepherd, you have led me through some tough times and brought me safely through. As I seek to live for you, please make your presence known. I genuinely believe that you are guiding me to your holy dwelling, but I confess, at times, the way becomes difficult, and faith becomes hard. Renew my courage, O Lord, as you did with reluctant Moses and untested Joshua. Then, dear Lord, please use me to help others find your promise and their way home to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
