오늘의 묵상
하나님께서는 우리들 각자의 삶에 대한 목적과 계획을 갖고 계십니다. 우리가 할 수 있는 가장 위대한 일은, 그 목적을 발견하여 그대로 살아가는 것입니다. 우리를 향한 그분의 목적을 신뢰할 수 있는 이유는, 그것이 하나님의 지혜와 사랑에 기반한 것이기 때문입니다. 그분의 뜻을 구하는 삶을 살아간다면, 우리를 향한 그분의 목적을 완전히 망쳐버리지는 않게 될 것입니다. 물론 하나님께서 원하시는 완전한 항해로를 벗어날 때도 가끔 있지만, 주요 항로를 완전히 벗어나지는 않을 것입니다. 우리가 하나님을 완전히 버리지 않고, 그분께서 우리를 결코 저버리지 않을 것임을 기억한다면, 하나님께서는 그분의 목적을 위해 우리를 사용하실 것입니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God has a purpose and plan for each of our lives, something unique he purposed for each of us as he created each of us in the womb of our mother (Psalm 139:13-16). We need to discover that purpose and live it out as our life's mission. As long as we seek the Lord's will, we can't do anything that can derail his ultimate purpose for us. If we seek Jesus, God is at work in our lives"to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose" in us (Philippians 2:12-13). He works all things out for our best good as we love him and live for his purpose for us (Romans 8:28-29). Yes, we may at times stray from the perfect path he wants us to travel, but we never get totally out of the main channel of his will as long as we do not abandon him. Remember: He will never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5-6; Romans 8:32-39). He will fulfill his great purpose for each of us.

오! 주 하나님, 제 삶에서 이루시기로 의도하신 주님의 계획을 바로 오늘 제가 분별할 수 있도록 도와주시옵소서. 저를 사랑해주시고 제 삶의 모든 발걸음마다 옆에서 같이 걸으시겠다고 약속하시니 감사드립니다. 주님께서 저를 결코 저버리지 않으신다는 것을 신뢰하면서, 저도 주님을 저버리지 않겠다고 헌신합니다. 주님의 신실한 독생자 예수님의 이름 받들어 기도드립니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Sovereign God, please use the Holy Spirit to help me discern today what your purpose for my life is. I yearn to fulfill your plan and purpose for me. Thank you for loving me and promising to walk beside me every step of my life. I live trusting that you will never forsake me and are committed to being at work through the Spirit to transform me to become more JESUShaped in every area of my life and influence.* In the name of your faithful Son, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
