ఈనాటి వచనమునుగూర్చిన తలంపు
మనలను రక్షించేది ఏది ? యేసులో దేవుడు మనకోసం ఏమి చేసాడు! సువార్త ద్వారా మనం రక్షింపబడిన ఆ ఆశపై మన నమ్మకాన్ని, ఆధారపడటాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టడానికి మనము ఏమీ చేయకుండునట్లు నిబద్ధత చూపుదాము . మనకు రక్షణ ఇచ్చే వేరే నామము లేదు, మరొక సువార్త లేదు, వేరే సందేశం లేదు. (అపొస్తలుల కార్యములు 4:12; గల. 1: 3-9; కొలొ. 2: 6-16 చూడండి) దీనికి మనం ఇంకేమీ జోడించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. దాని నుండి దేనినీ తీసివేయడానికి మనం ఎప్పుడూ అనుమతించకూడదు. ఈ విశ్వాసం, ఈ నమ్మకం, యేసుపై మనకు ఇచ్చిన దేవుని దయపై గట్టిగా పట్టుకుందాం!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What saves us? What God did for us in Jesus! Let's make a commitment to let nothing make us relinquish our trust and dependency upon that hope, that Gospel by which we are saved. There is no other name, no other Gospel, no other message that can give us salvation. (see Acts 4:12; Gal. 1:3-9; Col. 2:6-16) We don't need to add anything else to it. We must never let anyone take anything away from it. Let's hold firmly to this faith, this trust, in God's grace given to us in Jesus!
నా ప్రార్థన
తండ్రీ, నేను నిన్ను తప్ప వేరే దేవుడిని నమ్మను . నేను యేసులోని మీ ప్రేమ మరియు దయ యొక్క కథ తప్ప వేరే సువార్తను విశ్వసించలేదు. ఒక పాత కీర్తనలో చాలా అందంగా చెప్పబడినట్లుగా, ప్రియమైన తండ్రిని నేను "నీపై నా ప్రేమను చూపేంతగా ఎప్పటికీ, ఎప్పటికీ, జీవించలేను" అని అడుగుతున్నాను. యేసు నామంలో నేను ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను. ఆమెన్.
My Prayer...
Father, I trust in no other God but you. I trust in no other Gospel but the story of your love and grace in Jesus. As the old hymn so beautifully puts it, I ask dear Father that I may "never, ever, outlive my love for Thee." In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
