ఈనాటి వచనమునుగూర్చిన తలంపు
శాశ్వతంగా ఉండడం కొత్తేమీ కాదు. పూర్తిగా, శాశ్వతంగా యేసులా ఉండడం కొత్తగా ఉంటుంది. కానీ యేసు తన మరణ నిద్ర నుండి పునరుజ్జీవింపబడినప్పుడు మహిమ యొక్క ఆ క్షణం సమతుల్యతలో వేలాడదీయబడినప్పుడు, మరణం ఇకపై మనల్ని యేలుబడి చేయదని మనకు కూడా హామీ ఇవ్వబడింది. యేసుతో బాప్తీస్మములో పాపము విషయములో మన మరణం నిజంగా ఏకైక ముఖ్యమైన మరణం. మనం ఆ మరణంలో పాలుపంచుకున్నట్లయితే, మనం ఖచ్చితంగా అతని పునరుత్థానంలో పాలుపంచుకుంటాము (రోమా 6:1-14 చూడండి).
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Being eternal is nothing new; God made us that way, in the beginning, for fellowship with him. Being like Jesus (1 John 3:1-3) completely, eternally, will be new. When Jesus' lifeless body was placed in the ground, our lives with God, forever in glory, hung in the balance with him. Praise God. The Spirit of God revived Jesus from his death sleep. Jesus' resurrection also ensures our own, because our lives are hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:1-4), that death can no longer claim us. The only death that really matters for us is dying to our sin, through faith in baptism with Jesus (Romans 6:4). If we have shared in that death, we will most certainly share in his resurrection (Romans 6:5). Jesus was "the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep." This means that because God raised Jesus from the dead, we too can be confident that we "will be made alive" in Christ and live with him forever. His resurrection forever guarantees our own (Romans 8:11). Praise God!

సర్వశక్తిమంతుడు, అత్యంత శక్తివంతమైన దేవా . మీ దయ మరియు మృతులలో నుండి యేసు పునరుత్థానం కారణంగా, నేను మిమ్మల్ని ముఖాముఖిగా చూస్తానని నాకు తెలుసు. అయితే, ఆ పునరుత్థాన జీవితాన్ని మునుపెన్నడూ లేనంతగా నేడు యేసులా జీవించడానికి నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యండి. మరణమునుండి లేచిన నా ప్రభువు నామంలో నేను ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను. ఆమెన్.
My Prayer...
Almighty and graciously powerful God, I praise you. I praise you today because of your grace given to me through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. I know I will see you face-to-face and share in your glory.* Help me now to live that resurrected life before others, as the Holy Spirit transforms me each day into greater and glorious likeness to Jesus.** In the name of my risen Lord I pray. Amen.
