strength.

I love you, O Lord, my
strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the
strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess...
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will
strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me
strength.
The way of the
Lord is a refuge for the righteous, but it is the ruin of those who do evil.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The
Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives
strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the
Lord will renew their

strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
The
Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The
Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?
