آج کی آیت پر خیالات
خُدا اپنا اِنصاف کرتے ہوئے دیر لگاتا ہے جو انصاف میں اُس کے لوگوں کی سزا طلب کرتا ہو۔ "شفقت میں غنی اور غضب میں دھیما" یہ وہ پہرہ ہے جو خُدا کو بیان کرنے کے لیے پُرانے عہد نامے میں لگاتار دہرایا گیا ہے۔ خُدا اپنے لوگوں کے ساتھ شفیق ہونے اور اُن کو برکت دینا چاہتا ہے۔ وہ ہماری توبہ اور ہمارے واپس آنے کےلیے وقت کو بڑھاتا ہے۔ یسُوع میں، خُدا نے یہاں تک کہ اپنا بیٹا ہمیں بخش دیا تاکہ وہ ہمارے گناہوں کے لیے کفارہ کی قربانی بنے۔ آئیں خُدا کے دِل کی آواز سُنیں، اور اپنی زندگیوں اور دِلوں کو خُدا کی طرف لگا کر اُس کا جواب دیں جو ہمارا انتظار کرتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God is slow to exercise his justice when that justice demands his people's punishment. "Gracious and slow to anger" is a phrase repeatedly used to describe God in the Old Testament in relationship to his people. God longs to be gracious and bless his people. He extends the time for us to have opportunities to repent and turn to him. In Jesus, God even gave us his own Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins so we could have the opportunity to come home to him. Let's hear the heart of God and respond by turning our lives and hearts to our Father in heaven, who loves us and longs for us to come home to him!
میری دعا
قادرِ مطلق اور ابّا باپ، میں تیری محبّت اور تیری رحمت کے لیے کیسے تیرا شُکر ادا کر سکتا ہوں جو تُو میرے گناہوں کے لیے نے اپنے بیٹے کی قُربانی میں ظاہر کِیا۔ براہِ کرم مُجھے اُن وقتوں کے لیے مُعاف کر دے جب میں نے اپنے رہن سہن میں جان بُوجھ کر اور پُورے دِل سے تیرے فضل کے لیے تیری تعریف نہیں کی۔ براہِ کرم مُجھے اپنے رُوح کے وسیلہ سے کامِل بنا جیسا کہ تُو نے اپنے فضل سے مُجھے مُعاف اور پاک کر دیا۔ یسُوع کے نام سے۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Almighty God and Abba Father, how can I ever thank you for your love and mercy demonstrated so overwhelmingly in the sacrifice of your Son for my sin? Please forgive me for those times when I have not intentionally and wholeheartedly shown my appreciation for your grace. I deeply appreciate your graciousness toward me. Please perfect me by your Spirit just as you have forgiven and cleansed me by your grace. In Jesus' name, I thank you for being my gracious heavenly Father. Amen.
