இந்தநாளுக்குரிய வேதவார்த்தையின் கருப்பொருள்
ஏசாவை போல, நாமும் வயிற்று பிழைப்புக்காகவும், இம்மைக்குரிய கவலைகளுக்காகவும் சிக்குண்டு சிதறடிக்கப் படுகிறோம், நாம் அழியாத காரியங்களை குறித்ததான தொலைநோக்கு பார்வையை மறந்துவிடுகிறோம். தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையும், அவருடைய எழுதப்பட்ட வார்த்தையான வேதாகமமும் , இயேசுவின் மூலமாய் அவர் வெளிப்படுத்திய வார்த்தையும், சுவிசேஷத்தின் மூலமாய் அவர் அறிவித்த வார்த்தையும் நம்மை நித்தியமாக நிலைநிறுத்தக்கூடியவை. இதுவே நாம் தேடும் ஜீவ அப்பம்.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Like Esau, we get so diverted by the mundane things of life and the growling of our bellies, we forget the longer range view of things. God's Word, his written Word the Bible, his demonstrated Word in Jesus, and his proclaimed Word in the Gospel are what can sustain us eternally. This is the living bread we seek.
என்னுடைய ஜெபம்
சத்தியமும் உண்மையுமுள்ள தேவனே , உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் மூலமாய் உமது வார்த்தைக்கான ஆவலை என்னுள் உருவாக்குங்கள், அது என் மாம்சத்திற்குரிய பசியை விட மிகவும் அவசியமானது. சில சமயங்களில் நான் வாழ்க்கையின் இம்மைக்குரிய விஷயங்களால் திசைதிருப்பப்பட்டேன், உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வார்த்தையை நாடாமலும் , என்னால் இயன்றவரை என் ஆத்துமாவை முழுமையாக போஷிக்கவில்லை என்பதை நான் ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறேன். உமது வார்த்தையின் மூலமாயும் உமது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் மூலமாயும் உம் வழிநடத்துதலுக்கும் உம் சத்தியத்திற்கும் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்துவதற்காக நான் என்னை மீண்டும் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது தயவுகூர்ந்து என்னை மன்னித்து வழிநடத்துங்கள் . இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே ஜெபிக்கிறேன். ஆமென்.
My Prayer...
True and Faithful God, through your Holy Spirit create in me a hunger for your Word that is much more necessary for my life than my hunger for food. I confess that at times I have been distracted by the mundane things of life and have not sought your Word and have not nourished my soul as fully as I could. Please forgive me as I re-commit myself to be more attentive to your leading and your truth through your Word and by your Spirit. In the name Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
