کیا یہ شاندار نہیں! حتیٰ کہ ان وقتوں میں جب میرے الفاظ روکے ہوئے اور میرا دل بھاری تھا، ا خدا میری دعا سنتا۔ اس کی یہ وجہ نہیں کہ میں باقاعدہ، عقل مند، یا اتنی ایمان داری سے دعا کرتا ہوں جتنی مجھے کرنی چاہیے۔ نہیں، یہ اس لیے ہے کہ خدا نے اپنی مہربان روح ہمارے اندر رکھی ہے جو کہ سب جان لیتی ہے وہ بھی جو ہمارے الفاظ بیان نہیں کر پاتے اور میرا دماغ بتا نہیں سکتا۔ خدا میرا کراہنا، میری خواہش، میرے دل کا ٹوٹنا، اور میرا دل رونے کی آواز سنتا ہے۔ وہ جانتا ہے کہ میں کیا محسوس کرتا ہوں۔ وہ روح القدس کے ذریعے اپنی موجودگی، ممہربانی اور قدرت کے ساتھ بِنا مانگے ہی اس دعا کا جواب دیتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Isn't it incredible! Even in those times when we can't find the correct words and our hearts are heavy, God hears our prayers. It is not because we are articulate, wise, or faithful enough to pray as I should. No, it is because God has graciously placed his Spirit into our hearts to make known to him what our words cannot capture and our voices and minds cannot verbalize. God hears our groanings, our yearnings, our heartbreaks, and our heart-cries. He knows what we cannot think, but only feel. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, he answers those unutterable prayers with his presence, grace, and power.
میری دعا
اے باپ، میں اس یقن دہانی کے لیے مطمئن ہوں، حتیٰ کہ میں نہیں جانتا کہ کیا کہوں، تو جان لیتا ہے کہ میں کیا کہنا چاہتا ہوں۔ میرا ایمان ہے کہ تو درست مِنت اور فریاد کا جواب دیتا ہے، میں جانتا ہوں کہ تو مجھ سے زیادہ میری ضرورتوں کو جانتا ہے۔ یسوع کے نام میں اور روح القدس پر مکمل بھروسے کے ساتھ مانگتا ہوں ۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Father, we are comforted by the assurance that even when we don't know what to say, you know what we feel yet cannot articulate. We trust you to answer our hearts' longings as you see fit, for we believe that you know what we need far more than we know how to ask for it. In addition to all of this, we trust the Holy Spirit to present our requests to you in accordance to your will and our best interests, to your glory. In Jesus' name, and with complete confidence in the Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen.
