مسیحیوں کے لیے خُدا کا گھر دو چیزوں سے ملحق ہے: کلیسیا کا بدن (پہلا کرنتھیوں ۶ باب ۱۹ تا ۲۰ آیت) یا پھرایسے کچھ لوگ جو مل کر چرچ بناتے ہیں (پہلا کرنتھیوں ۳ باب ۱۶ آیت) لوگوں میں کاملیت ہماری گھرجا گھروں کو بناتی ہے، بہت سے لوگ اپنی نفاقی کی وجہ سے نفاق ہوتے ہیں۔ لیکن خُدا کا گھر اُن کے لیے قیمتی ہے، اور ہمارے لیے بھی ہونا چاہیے۔ کوئی بھی ایسا جو اُس کے چرچ کو بانٹتا ہے وہ ظاہری طور پر تباہ کیا جائے گا۔ تاریخ میں تمام تر تباہ کاریوں اور جارحیت کے دوران خُدا کی اپنے لوگوں کے لیے وفاداری اس کی چرچ کی حفاظت اور وہ جو اُس کے چرچ میں ہیں اُن کے لیے خُدا کے صبر میں دیکھی جا سکتی ہے۔ لیکن، خُدا اب بھی چرچ کا مرکز ہے اور وہی اکیلا ہے جس کی تعظیم ہونی چاہیے۔ چرچ ابھی بھی اُسی کے کلام کے حکم پر چلنا چاہیے نہ کہ لوگوں کی اپنی مرضی پر۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
For Christians, God's temple is one of two related things: either the Christian's physical body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) or the group of people who make up his Church gathered together (1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Peter 2:4-5). Because of the flaws in the people who make up our churches, many are overly critical of our bouts with hypocrisy and weakness. The problem with most churches is that they are made up of people like the one we see in the mirror each day. Despite our flaws and failures as God's people, his Church is precious to him. We should also value the Church, the temple of God, as precious. Anyone who destroys the Lord's Church, the Lord's temple, through division will be utterly destroyed (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). God has demonstrated his faithfulness to his people by preserving the Church through the ravages and persecutions of history, and by sustaining it through the failures of some of its most significant leaders. He has done this by his patience with the flawed people in his Church. God is still the center of the Church, the place where he chooses to dwell. So, dear friend in Jesus, we must value the Church, our congregations, the people that we share faith with, as we obey the word and will of God, and as we praise God and exalt him for his love, grace, and faithfulness.

مقدس اور بے مثال خُدا، میں تیری لگاتار محبت اور وفاداری کے لیے جو تُو نے تاریخ میں سالوں تک تیرے چرچ کی حفاظت کر کے ظاہر کی تیری حمد کرتا ہوں۔ میں تیرے چرچ کو بڑھاؤں گا اور اِس کی نشو و نما کے لیے وہ سب کچھ کروں گا جو کر سکا اور یسوع کی طرح اور زیادہ پُختہ بنوں گا۔ میں نے یہ جانا ہے کہ تُو اور صرف تُو ہی تما م چیزوں سے بڑھ کر تعظیم کے لائق ہے اور وہ چرچ تیری اُس مرضی سے کبھی بھی بڑھ کے نہیں ہونا چاہیے جو کہ تیرے کلام کے مطابق ہے۔ مجھے تیرے ساتھ تب بھی سچا ہونے کا حوصلہ عطا فرما جب کہ وہ لوگ جو تیرے چرچ میں ہیں تجھے اعزاز نا بخشیں۔ یسُوع کے وسیلہ سے مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy and incomparable God, I praise you for your steadfast love and faithfulness revealed in your preservation of your Church through all the years and centuries of history. I will cherish your Church and do all I can to help it grow and mature into the bodily presence of Jesus. Through Jesus, I pray. Amen.
